Centaur Blue Steel Slow Twist King Dee Bit

We love this Centaur® Blue Steel Slow Twist King Dee Bit because the slow twist adds a bit more correction to the standard dee ring bit.  A great bit if your horse has become non-responsive to the standard dee ring. The dee ring offers more control than an eggbutt but is less severe than a full cheek.  

Blue Steel bits are made of a technologically advanced version of Black Steel (traditional Sweet Iron). Blue Steel oxidizes faster and easier compared to Black Steel. It will rust when in contact with air and humidity. This surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates additional saliva production, encouraging better acceptance of the bit by the horse.
