The Happy Mouth Copper Roller Mouth Hackamore Bit combines the nose and poll pressure control of a hackamore with the stopping power of a gag bit. The pressure is dispersed over the horse’s nose and head as well as at the mouth. By using 99.9% pure copper in the center of the mouthpiece, bit acceptance is improved. Pure copper is a soft, warm metal. The taste of copper encourages horses to salivate and keep a moist mouth. Bits made of copper can have a very positive effect by promoting relaxation and softening.
