We love this bit because the mouthpiece is soft for young horses and the unique design prevents pinching on the lips.

The eggbutt is a universally used mouthpiece, it sits very quietly in the horse’s mouth and the side parts prevent pinching of the lips. The shape and the weight of the sidepieces ensures a quiet, neutral position in the horse‘s mouth.

This characteristic makes this bit wonderfully suited to young and inexperienced horses. The shape of the sidepiece also provides them with optimum support and guidance. The large ring facilitates good and quiet use of the reins.
